eduroam’s ease of use relies on the work of IT professionals around the state. UEN has a library of resources available for you to review and a user group to provide support, answers and similar experiences. We’ve also developed materials you can share with your teachers and staff to encourage them to access eduroam.

eduroam for Public School Students

Most of Utah’s public schools give limited eduroam access to K-12 students, which means school-supplied devices can access eduroam. Public school students concurrently enrolled in higher education courses can access eduroam from any device with their higher education login information. Students are encouraged to follow the school district guidelines for internet access and usage.

Nebo School District has piloted a program where they give full eduroam access to students. Read about it here. Other school districts have deployed device-based filtering, allowing students to use school-issued devices on other eduroam networks.
