Fiber maintenance - Hut 5: 2020-07-07 @ 11:00 PM Description: Third party contractors will be working on fiber splicing at Hut 5 the evening of Tuesday July 7 starting at 11pm.

Ciena Level3 Maintenance: 2020-07-14 @ 11:00 PM Description: Ciena needs to clean fibers and possibly replace equipment at our Lvl3 POP.

Network Outage: 2020-07-29 @ 9:55 PM Description: UEN is experiencing an outage on the network. The NOC engineers are looking into the issue and has already reached out to Century Link. This appears to be a provider issue with Century Link, they are investigating the issue. The DWDM path is down. We will provide updates as they come in.

ISE server maintenance: 2020-07-31 @ 9:00 PM Description: The UEN ISE servers will be replaced/upgraded.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: This will affect authentication into UEN managed switches and routers and Global Protect VPN access for Service Provider users (mobileID authentication).
Downtime should be less than 5 minutes for the primary server which provides 99% of authentications. Full operation of secondary and tertiary server should be complete within an hour.
Outage Types:
Outage: An observed outage, not scheduled.
Normal: A planned outage, 24 hours in advance.
Urgent: A planned outage, 12 hours in advance
Emergency: Immediate outage required
Third Party Maintenance: A planned outage performed by an organization other than UEN
