Emery Telcom will be performing fiber splicing to replace a section of fiber and change conduits along I-15 between the Flexential data enter in Lindon and the Databank data center in Bluffdale. Work is being performed in conjunction with UDOT’s I-15 Tech Corridor construction project. Work will begin at 12:01 am on the night of November 5th, morning of November 6th.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: Customer Impact:
Fibers between Lindon and Bluffdale will be down during the maintenance. This will impact the dark fiber lease between Salt Lake Community College and Utah Valley University.

UEN storage array software upgrade: 2019-11-10 @ 3:00 PM Description: We will be upgrading the software on our storage array. This process will start at 3:00 PM and last until 11:00 PM.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed at 10:44 PM. Impact: There is a small chance this could cause an outage and affect all UEN web services. We have done our due diligence, researched the upgrade process and consulted with the storage array vendor. We believe the chances of an outage are very low so we do not expect this to affect any services.
Emery telco: 2019-11-12 @ 11:00 PM Description: Emery Telcom will be performing fiber splicing to move a section of aerial fiber to underground in Grand Junction, CO. This route is used for the 10 Gbps link from Roosevelt to Blanding and the link will be down throughout splicing. This is the second of two moves.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: 10 Gbps link between Roosevelt and Blanding will be down during maintenance.

Update: Centurylink will be rebooting equipment at 10:30 to try and restore service to Mendon Library and Center from Creativity and Discovery Charter School.
