Moving TenGig connections at SLCC POP: 2019-07-02 @ 11:00 PM Description: We will be moving 3 connections at the SLCC POP, two backbone connections and one circuit to Canyons school district.

DDC PEP-C Code Upgrade: 2019-07-07 @ 1:00 AM Description: We are upgrading our ASR 9010 code, in prep for an RSP upgrade. This will be on the C device.

Fiber Replacements: 2019-07-16 @ 11:00 PM Description: UETN Engineers will be at SUU to perform fiber and patch panel cleanup.
All sites off of SUU-PEP-A and SUU-PEP-B will be affected. Each circuit will go down in sequence and not all at once. We will have engineers looking at these circuits to ensure they come up properly.

Sites primarily impacted will be UofU and USU. Sites should re-route around via redundant paths, but there may be occasional outages or slowness.
UVU POP Power Maintenance - 2 of 2: 2019-07-27 @ 5:30 AM Description: UVU will need to cut power again to their facilities while they connect the new UPS device. This will happen at 5:30am on the morning of 7-27. Power is expected to be restored at 6am.

Video VRF Maintenance: 2019-07-31 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN Networking staff will be testing a new network design and new firewalls which will protect video equipment inside the video VRF

Outage Types:
Outage: An observed outage, not scheduled.
Normal: A planned outage, 24 hours in advance.
Urgent: A planned outage, 12 hours in advance
Emergency: Immediate outage required
Third Party Maintenance: A planned outage performed by an organization other than UEN
