UETN Engineers will be performing router maintenance at our UVU POP.
North Ring Area Outage: 2016-12-03 @ 3:00 PM Description: Northern Ring Outage involving Telco Carrier Equipment is causing some sites to be offline. We have shut down some links to keep the network stable while the issue is being repaired.
Update: This outage was resolved at 11:48 PM. Impact: We have experienced a telco related issue in Northern Utah. Some links are offline due to failure of carrier equipment. Technicians are aware and we expect to have some resolution of service in the next two hours or so.
UEN Web Hosting maintenance: 2016-12-06 @ 11:00 PM Description: All UEN hosted websites and audio streams will be migrated to new load balancers. This will cause each service to be down for 30 to 60 seconds and will reset any persistent connections (like the audio streams).
my.uen.org, videowest, and ContactDB will not be affected (they were moved two weeks ago).
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed at 12:37 AM. Impact: There will be short outages for UEN hosted websites (30-60 seconds each) as they are migrated to new load balancing systems.
Century Link Maintenance: 2016-12-08 @ 11:00 PM Description: Century Link will be replacing a card at RDC & DATC tonight.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: We have redundant circuits in both locations and there should be no down time.
Device Reload: 2016-12-15 @ 11:00 PM Description: We are having issues with one of our devices not maintaining a BGP state with one of our route reflectors. After troubleshooting the issue our next step is to reload this router.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: Customers connected to our snow pop site that are not dual homed will have a brief interruption during the reboot.
Utopia Maintenance: 2016-12-15 @ 12:05 AM Description: DESCRIPTION:
UTOPIA is planning a maintenance window for Thursday December 15, 2016. The uplinks on the following switches in Murray will be upgraded to 10 gig:
· MU008-ADS-1003
· MU020-ADS-1003
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: All customer on these devices will experience a 10 to 15-minute outage while the changes are being made.
