And quite frankly, it's nice to just be governor rather than being out trying to raise a couple of million dollars to participate in the primary and general election.

I was concerned because I think more effort was put on getting sufficient votes, rather than looking at the bills and really giving an in-depth look at some of the problems that I had pointed out to them in the various bills.

I almost wish this year that the governor had the power to fix some bills after we discovered some problems, and in one case even a sponsor agreed that it was probably better to veto a bill because of a last-minute amendment.
