Strand 2

Students will apply knowledge to attain efficient movement and performance.
Students will use space, pathways, shapes, levels, speed, direction, force, and strategy for effective movement in an activity setting.

Standard K.2.3

Travel in general space with different speeds.
  • Badminton and 4 Square Badminton Lesson Plan
    In this lesson plan, educators will learn to teach their students the basic rules and strategies of badminton. Students will also go over the equipment and learn the rules of 4 square badminton.
  • Locomotor Movement Lesson Plan
    This lesson plan is designed to help educators teach K-2 students to run, gallop, hop, skip, jump, and slide. Students will also learn correct locomotor movement vocabulary.
