Uintah Basin Roosevelt/Vernal: 2019-03-07 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN will be making some more changes to the Uintah Basin Roosevelt/Vernal devices.
We will be turning up a new link from Roosevelt to the Strata data center for redundancy.
Moving some routing from the Roosevelt device to the Vernal device.
Upgrading code on both devices.

Update: This maintenance completed at 1:14 AM. Impact: Both devices will be down for approx 10 min while the device reloads.
UBTECH LAN at both locations will go down while making changes.
Video VRF's will be down at Vernal while they are being moved from Roosevelt.
UVU to DDC backbone upgrades: 2019-03-12 @ 11:00 PM Description: We are upgrading the UVU to DDC backbone 4x10GE CWDM connection to a single 40GE DWDM connection.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: No impact is expected. Traffic will reroute to other backbone connections.
Finish Upgrading Juab District outside device to PE: 2019-03-14 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN will be finishing the upgrade of the Juab District Outside device to be a backbone device.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed at 12:47 AM. Impact: There will be some service interruptions, but should be minimal if all goes well.
Level3 backbone maintenance: 2019-03-19 @ 11:00 PM Description: We will be cleaning and re-routing fiber for one of our backbone links to Level3.
Update: This maintenance completed at 11:47 PM. Impact: This should not be service impacting.
UEN Hosting firewall/router upgrades: 2019-03-23 @ 10:00 PM Description: Performing software upgrades on the datacenter border firewalls and redeploying one of the core inside routers.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: Datacenter services will see a momentary drop in traffic while the high availability firewalls hand traffic off from one to the other.
Strata Maintenance: 2019-03-26 @ 11:00 PM Description: Strata will be upgrading their equipment at the Uintah County Library. This will affect only this site.

Storm related Outages: 2019-03-29 @ 6:45 AM Description: Due to a large snow storm many areas are out. The UETN phone system is currently being impacted. If you need to contact us, please email ops@uen.net.
Update: There are still many outages due to the large power outage in SLC. Many of our centracom sites are down due to a CO that is shutdown due to the power outage. This is also what is causing our NOC phone system outage. To contact the NOC, please email NOC@uen.org.
Update: While there are still several sites still down, our phone system is now up. If you are still down, and have power, please let us know via the normal means. Thanks.

USU replacing Switches: 2019-03-30 @ 7:00 AM Description: Saturday March 30 2019 starting at 7:00 am
USU will be replacing all the main network switches in the 2 Brigham buildings on March 30th starting at 7:00 am. All Internet, IVC, phones and licensing services originating from Brigham will experience brief (15-30 minutes) maybe multiple periods of no service or access initially, with disruption becoming more localized to just Brigham as the morning progresses.
