Strata upgrading card at Vernal CO: 2015-09-01 @ 11:55 PM Description: Strata will be replacing a card at the Vernal CO.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: Schools that go through the Vernal CO will go down.
ASR Upgrades: 2015-09-03 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN needs to upgrade code on devices at our POP sites.
We will be upgrading our PE-B devices at our DATC & SUU POP site. We will also upgrade the ZAYO & Integra IBR's time permitting.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed at 12:55 AM. Impact: Each device with reload several times during the maintenance. Connectivity will be intermittent during the outage for those POPs.
ASR Card Reload: 2015-09-10 @ 11:00 PM Description: We need to reset a card at our DDC POP.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.

Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: The 100 Gig Circuit from DDC to LV3 will drop. Traffic will reroute over redundant connects.
Radio Firmware upgrade: 2015-09-15 @ 11:00 PM Description: Scott will be upgrading firmware on the radio device starting from Moab moving his way south.
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: Impact should be limited to the time it takes for the radio to reboot.
Ciena - Metro Ring Maintenance: 2015-09-17 @ 11:00 PM Description: UEN Field Engineers are troubleshooting db loss at the Park building. They will need to troubleshoot the fiber and equipment to locate the issue.

Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: The following Ciena/Metro Ring circuits will drop.

Moving Fiber: 2015-09-23 @ 4:00 AM Description: Century Link will be moving fiber
Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: May affect the follwing three schools, James Russell, Guadalupe Charter School and Herizon Elementary
Emery Telcom Maintenance: 2015-09-24 @ 11:55 PM Description: Our circuit from UVU to USUE will go down for the duration of the outage. Traffic will reroute across redundant link.
Update: This maintenance completed on time. Impact: Emery will be replacing equipment at their Price and Orem CO's.
UVU Wasatch / Heber Fiber Down: 2015-09-29 @ 1:00 PM Description: We have lost our backbone connection to UVU Wasatch, Park City and several other related telco circuits in the Heber area.
Update: This is due to a fiber cut. No ETR as of yet.
Update: Century Link has to replace a mile of fiber to repair the issue. Estimated completion time for the repair is 7-8pm tonight.
Update: This outage was resolved on time. Impact: We have brought up a temporary link over dark fiber to remediate most of the issue. Some schools may still be down or experience degraded service.
Outage Types:
Outage: An observed outage, not scheduled.
Normal: A planned outage, 24 hours in advance.
Urgent: A planned outage, 12 hours in advance
Emergency: Immediate outage required
Third Party Maintenance: A planned outage performed by an organization other than UEN
