San Juan POP Maintenance: 2015-06-02 @ 8:00 AM
Description: UEN will be replacing the current radios serving these sites with new Ethernet Radios. This is required to provide greater bandwidth to these sites. Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes. Update: This maintenance completed on time.
Impact: Monument Valley and Navajo Mountain sites will experience a complete outage for the duration of this maintenance. Some other services in the San Juan area may experience brief outages as some equipment is relocated to accommodate these changes.
Radio Upgrade: 2015-06-23 @ 8:00 AM
Description: UEN will be upgrading the radio path from Blanding to Montezuma Creek/Whitehorse. Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes. Update: This maintenance completed on time.
Impact: Montezuma Creek HS will be down during this maintenance.
Ogden, Weber, Box Elder Maintenance: 2015-06-23 @ 11:00 PM
Description: Century Link needs a short maintenance to remedy a monitoring issue with their hardware. The outage should only take 20 minutes, but 2 hours is reserved. Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes. Update: This maintenance completed on time.
Impact: This will affect circuits in the Ogden, Weber and Box Elder areas.
South Central Maintenance: 2015-06-24 @ 12:00 AM
Description: Cedar City Maintenance, Check email to NOC for more details. Update: This maintenance completed on time.
Impact: Service affecting: Planned Service Impact should be less than 2 hours
Emery Telecom Maintenance: 2015-06-29 @ 10:00 PM
Description: Emery Telecom will be upgrading and replacing equipment for the link between CEU and UBATC. This will take some services in the CEU and UBATC area offline, but most impact will be limited to the redundant backbone link. Update: This maintenance will begin in 5 minutes. Update: This maintenance completed on time.
Impact: The Backbone link between CEU and UBATC will be impacted. Any other links using the same Emery equipment will also be impacted. All downtime should be minimal, but an extended outage of service is possible.

Outage Types:

Outage: An observed outage, not scheduled.

Normal: A planned outage, 24 hours in advance.

Urgent: A planned outage, 12 hours in advance

Emergency: Immediate outage required

Third Party Maintenance: A planned outage performed by an organization other than UEN

Additional Information: Normal maintenance outages, if necessary, are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 11pm. If any additional information about outages is required, please contact the UEN Operations Center at noc@uen.org, 801-585-7440 or 800-836-4396.
