What is ID Summit

The Instructional Design Summit is a gathering of Instructional Designers within higher education throughout the state of Utah. ID Summit has three major goals:

  1. Sharing innovative teaching strategies and new technologies
  2. Networking within the career field
  3. Collaborate on projects

ID Summits are typically held twice per year with one event being in person and the other virtual. Registration for ID Summits are free.

The 2022 ID Summit will be held Friday, September 30 virtually through Zoom.

Registration

Registration is required for all attendees.

During the registration process you will be asked for additional information which will help shape the experience. Attendees can contact Elisa Taylor if they have any questions.

 

Location

ID Summit will be held virtually through Zoom. We recommend testing your microphone, camera, and screen share functions before the summit.

Solutions Session - Share problems and discuss possible solutions
1:00-2:00
Showcase Session – IDs will showcase some of their work including Institutional templates, effective courses, and innovative approaches
3:00-4:00
Small Group Discussion Breakouts – Group discussion related to special topics.

 

ID Summit Board

The ID Summit Board consists of instructional design professionals from across the state. These volunteers oversee each ID Summit.
