The Utah Education Network is excited to announce Leading Schools Summit, a multi-day summit designed to provide principals with the inspiration, support and professional learning opportunities they need to lead student-centered learning initiatives in their schools.

The best LEADERS are LEARNERS

Throughout the summit, each attendee will get the benefits of …

  • Personalized Problem-Solving: Engage with peers to explore current opportunities for the implementation of personalized and competency based learning strategies.
  • Job-Embedded Training: Learn with experienced principal coaches in key areas including: school culture and change management, professional learning, communication and community engagement.
  • Tangible Examples of Innovation: Explore tested leadership strategies and visit spaces of innovation.
  • Design Thinking Framework: Design solutions for your own problems of practice, and reflect, ideate and experiment with mavens and peer leaders.
  • Continued Network of Support: Collaborate with school leaders with similar challenges during the summit, and with a growing network of innovative leaders after the summit.
  • Improving Communication: Acquire strategies for having difficult conversations with staff, parents, and community members.

Here is what some of our past summit cohort members said …

“One of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had as an educator or administrator.”
"So much appreciation for your vision and work in helping administrators with the problems that we face - as a new administrator I have found this one of the most beneficial experiences. Just to sit and discuss my challenges with another administrator has been invaluable. THANK YOU!"
“Great strategies to help reflect on practice. Fabulous resources. Loved the networking.”

Who should attend?
Principals, assistant principals, and executive directors at any level with any amount of experience who want to connect with other leaders, feel empowered and not afraid of artificial intelligence, and improve communication with their faculty and community.
